MachOne is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), as presented at the time of purchase on the App Store. These Terms supplement that EULA; if they conflict, the EULA controls. By purchasing or using MachOne you accept both.
MachOne is a content blocker for Safari. It blocks ads, trackers, cookie and consent banners, fingerprinting techniques, and cryptominers using community-maintained filter lists plus its own in-page defenses, and its Protection Benchmark shows you what it actually blocked on your device.
No content blocker can block everything. Filter lists are maintained by third parties and change daily; websites change constantly; new trackers appear all the time. MachOne is provided on a best-effort basis: it proves what it did block, but it does not and cannot guarantee that every ad, tracker, miner, or annoyance on every website will be blocked, nor that any particular website will function perfectly with blocking enabled.
You may use MachOne for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the EULA. You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to repackage or resell it, or using it to interfere with services in ways unrelated to its purpose as a personal content blocker.
MachOne downloads filter lists published by third parties (EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Fanboy lists, AdGuard Base, NoCoin, CoinBlockerLists, and Peter Lowe's list). These lists remain the work of their authors under their own licenses, credited on the Support page and inside the app. Their availability and contents are outside our control; MachOne verifies each download's integrity before use and keeps the last verified rules if a download fails or appears tampered with.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MachOne is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of MachOne — including content that was or was not blocked, or any website's behavior with blocking enabled. In any event, total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com under the App Store's terms.
If these Terms change, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence necessarily applies. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
